How you use our notebooks and journals

An A5 page is 5.5 by 8.3 inches, big enough for meeting notes and small enough for a bag. Both of our hardcovers open flat, so the left page is as easy to write on as the right, whichever hand you use.

The 160-page notebook is the one for ink. Its 100gsm acid-free cream paper keeps 0.7mm gel ink and fineliners from showing through, and the cream tone is easier on the eyes than bright white. The 200-page journal trades a little paper weight for more pages and a soft-touch cover in black, navy, light blue, orange, red or yellow.

Each has an elastic band, a ribbon bookmark and a pocket inside the back cover for receipts, cards and the note you meant to keep.

Will your gel pen show through a SUIN notebook?

The 160-page notebook uses 100gsm paper, heavy enough for 0.7mm gel pens and fineliners. Broad wet markers can still ghost on any notebook paper, so try one on the last page.

Do SUIN journals lie flat?

Yes. Both A5 hardcovers open flat, which gives right- and left-handed writers a steady surface across both pages.

What size is a SUIN A5 journal?

About 5.5 by 8.3 inches, the A5 size of the ISO paper series, with a hard cover, an elastic band and a ribbon bookmark.

Is the paper in your SUIN notebook acid-free?

The 160-page 100gsm notebook is printed acid-free on its label. Acid-free paper resists the yellowing that cheap pulp shows over the years.
